The Institute for Simulation and Interprofessional Studies Employee Recognized for Exemplifying Excellence

The UW’s Department of Surgery recognizes one staff member each quarter for “Exemplifying Excellence.” Todd Krinke, the Instutute Lab Operations Manager, is being honored this quarter. Todd joined the Institute in 2007, and again in 2011 following a brief traveling hiatus in 2010. Todd demonstrates excellence every day through his passion for medical education and commitment to the Institute's role in using simulation to improve patient safety and quality of care. Todd recently stepped into the role of Lab Operations Manager and has met the challenge with remarkable success, exemplifying excellence through his adaptability and emphasis on high-quality results.

Farrah Leland, The Institute for Simulation and Interprofessional Studies Assistant Director, remarks, “I cannot say enough about Todd’s devotion to the success of the Institute, his dedication to customer service and his ability to overcome the daily challenges faced in such an evolving environment.”  Congratulations, Todd!

In the spirit of congratulations, the Institute would also like to congratulate Elizabeth Buttrick on her promotion to Manager of Program Operations and Megan Sherman on her promotion to Manager of Educational Operations.

Last and certainly not least, the Institute would like to welcome the newest members of its team: Austin Shipman, Program Coordinator; Dylan Griffiths, Laboratory Technician; and Beth Sobba, Scientific Instructional Technician.
