+Q: Can I volunteer at WISH?

Yes! However, we cannot guarantee placement for all those who want to volunteer. If you are interested in applying as a WISH volunteer, please contact Megan Sherman (shermm@uw.edu).

+Q: How do I request a student/group tour at WISH?

For high school tours, please contact UW Medicine Events (uwmevent@uw.edu). For all other tours, please contact UWMC (wishuwmc@uw.edu) or HMC (wishhmc@uw.edu).

UWMC
Eligibility: Residents, Fellows and Attending Physicians are eligible for 24/7 access to WISH at UWMC. Directions: You will need to complete WISH After-Hours Agreement and Key Request forms. For copies of these forms, please contact WISH UWMC (wishuwmc@uw.edu) or stop by the WISH at UWMC front desk.

Eligibility (for WISH at HMC classroom and skills hallway)
Residents, Fellows and Attending Physicians are eligible for 24/7 access.

Eligibility (for WISH at HMC wet/dry lab areas):
Due to the nature of the lab set-up, only Fellows and Attending Physicians are eligible for 24/7 access to these areas.

Directions: You will need to complete a copy of the After-Hours Agreement and submit your contact information for badge approval. For a copy of this form, please contact WISH HMC (wishhmc@uw.edu) or stop by the Institute at HMC front desk.

PLEASE NOTE: After-Hours Requests can take up to two weeks to process. Please plan ahead.
